David’s skating journey began with an interpretive program to “People Are Strange” by The Doors. He was tiny — barely making it around the rink before the music ended — but something remarkable happened. He completely became the character. Every movement had intention; every expression told the story. The judges remembered him. He won.

Although known for his competitive results, David also loves performing in exhibitions and gala shows. But, true to his personality, he has never believed that a show is an excuse to take the easy route.
Most skaters use exhibitions to relax and entertain. David uses them to challenge himself. Whether skating in front of judges or an audience, he includes difficult jumps, challenging spins, and demanding choreography — because, for him, every performance deserves his very best. For David, figure skating has never been about collecting medals alone. It is about combining athletic excellence with storytelling and creating performances that people remember long after the final pose.
